Free No Objection Letter Template for UK Immigration
A no objection letter (also called a no objection certificate or NOC) is a document issued by an employer, educational institution, or organisation stating that they have no objection to the named.
Important Notes
A no objection letter is a supporting document — it does not guarantee visa approval.
UKVI officers assess Standard Visitor Visa applications under Appendix V of the Immigration Rules, considering the applicant's intention to leave the UK, financial means, and ties to their home country.
The letter should ideally be on the employer's official headed paper and signed by an authorised person (HR manager, director, or authorised signatory).
The letter should be consistent with other documents submitted in the visa application — inconsistencies may raise doubts about credibility.
Providing false or misleading information in support of a visa application is an offence under section 24A of the Immigration Act 1971.
